Below are the minimum requirements for rank progression to be considered for advancement.
Grade
9th Kyu -Element tests, intro to methods and philosophy of Ninjutsu, history of our school, other organizations & figures.
8th Kyu - Nin texts, juhakkei/juhappan
7th Kyu - Nin-taijutsu basics, Taihen, nin/gen weps, equipment/ninki
6th Kyu - Intro to Choho, In/Goton intro, intro Akari/Kisane
5th Kyu - Foreign Tai/Weps, JuKenjutsu specific intro and intermediate technique
4th Kyu - Metsu/tetsu-bishi, advanced Nin weps/nintai-acrobatics and agility
3rd Kyu - Suijutsu/Suiren, advanced Inton/Goton, -advanced choho, team combat/ operations
2nd Kyu - Foreign tai arts focus/weps, style selection and advanced technique
1st Kyu - Element test, kumite/dueling and individual merit testing for 1st dan
